• Key differences between humans & and other species.

Humans use language which started about 2 million years ago, we have the ability to think abstractly, we can used language to warn of predators & make plans. This is such an important attribute that there are thousands of different languages. I would say that language is very important. We can also pass on culture.

• Many different human like species.

Lucy was an austealopithicinces she was here about 3.5 million years ago, she walked upright and had opposable thumbs giving scientists the idea that she was the first human-like species to walk the earth. She is thought to be the first human like species.

• All other human species went extinct except us.

homo habalis also called the handy man was here about 2 million years ago they were the first tool makers they used uni-facial tools, which are one sided tools they had the brain the size of a modern two year old. We know alot more about the homo habalis then we know about Lucy's species.

• Homo erectus-1.5 million years ago

The Homo erectus were the first to migrate from Africa, & maybe domesticate fire. It is said that they made clothing due to their teeth, teeth of the homo erectus were worn down alike to the native alaskins, they used bi-facial tools, they were quite bigger than us, they might have been cannibals, this is a possibility because of hollow skulls with scraped out marks, also they might have cooperated in hunting.

• Homo Sapiens-300,000 years ago

Homo Sapiens were close to modern day humans and had the same size brain as us. They are the closest thing to regular humans today.

• Neanderthals-200,000-3000,000 years ago.

Neanderthals used advanced tools, took care of one another as suggested when a body of an old aged Neanderthal was discovered from a supposed "burial" site, they were very much like us, and they were language capable.

• Cro-magnon homo sapiens that lived in Europe- 40,000 years ago.

The cro magnon took over Europe and were the first to have art and jewelery, they also had social classes.
